Sculpture & Ceramics Intermediate
- Course Description
This course is an introduction to working with a variety of sculptural materials and concepts building on what the student learned in Beginning Visual Art. The purpose of the course is to increase student understanding and appreciation of the three dimensional form by providing opportunities to gain knowledge and develop skills in personal artistic expression and response. Creating sculptures with clay, plaster, paper, mixed media, and found objects; art criticism, art history, and aesthetics round out the course.
